Evaluating ideas against the 8 values: demonstrates a paradigm shift, redistributes power and decision making authority, blends giving help and support with receiving help and support, addresses the supply and demand for information and opportunities, develops end user’s competence and capacity over time, offers end users ownership over change process and the data that comes from it, embeds new routines in end user’s daily realities, feels fun, delightful, and surprising not stigmatizing, shameful or perfunctory.
